Deck and Hull Equipment:
The Camano achieves remarkable performance with its Keelform hull - a unique bottom shape that features a large displacement keel and a very wide waterline beam. This design allows water to break cleanly off the transom at all speeds, eliminating the "hump" when transitioning from displacement to planing speeds. The Camano hull has a much more linear relationship between speed and power than either a displacement hull or a planing hull, and achieves comfortable, efficient performance at all speeds up to 17 knots. Fuel consumption at 7 knots is 1 gph.
