2009 HERRESHOFF Rozinante Yawl, 28' Pictured here is the 28' Rozinante by L. Francis Herreshoff. Certainly one of the most admired yacht designs of all time. The elegeant yawls (or ketch, if you prefer) are ideal for daysailing, simple cruising and club racing. We have launched two Rozinantes and could deliver a third in 2002. Like the Buzzards Bay 25 the Rozinante is built in low maintenance "West System" for exceptional strength with light weight. Currently under construction are two of the 33` Nathaniel Herreshoff "Buzzard`s Bay 25`s for spring 2001 delivery. Future projects may include a new Doug Peterson designed double-ended, light displacement canoe yawl (similar in profile to the Rozinante) If today's production sailboats leave you cold, you might consider a custom yacht, either from an existing design from one of the masters (Herreshoff, Alden, Sparkman & Stephens, etc.) or from the naval architect of your choice.
