2003 SOVEREIGN Motoryacht, MOON SAND is the first yacht of a new Ward Setzer design. The hull and all fiberglass work was done to a very high standard at the Sovereign Yard in Vancouver, B.C. The completed shell was then shipped to New Zealand for installation of machinery, joiner work and completion of the yacht under somewhat of a government subsidized program which reduced the man hour costs of this high end interior. The finished yacht operated as the flagship of the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron during the last America's Cup.
