This Catalina 42 Mark II is in excellent condition, has always been moored in fresh water, very few engine and genset hours. The Catalina 42 a very popular model and this one is extremely well equipped with everything needed for Northwest and world cruising. Features include: Hydronic heating system, Fisher Panda genset, full cockpit enclosure with hard top dodger, extra cold storage, unlimited domestic hot water, extra CQR anchor and all chain rode. This Catalina 42 also has mast steps, cockpit teak, leather wrapped wheel and a very nice/large bbq. Also offered with this Catalina is a 12' Zodiac Fastroller tender and a 9.9 horse Yamaha outboard engine purchased new in 2007. Accomodations:
Sleeps six and with dining table converting into a large bed. Navigation station with swivel chair and storage space under navigation table. Forward pullman stateroom with double bed and lots of drawers. Crystal Ultraleather upholstery. Aft stateroom with extra long double bed, thermostat for independent room heat, carbon monoxide detector, private access to aft head and direct access to cockpit through hatch. Two heads both with electric macerating toilets. Pressurized Water with varispeed pump with and accumulator tank. Isotemp 15 gal hot water heater has electrical elements in addition to heat exchangers that heat the tank from the Comfort Hot hydronic heating system. Consta Hot heat exchanger provides instant hot water even when the hot water tank no longer has hot water. Accomplished by another heat exchanger tied to the Comfort Hot hydronic heating system. Provides unlimited hot water while furnace or engine is running. Cabin Heat has three zonal controls. Heat is pulled from the Comfort Hot hydronic heating system. Hot water system can be heated by any of the following three heat sources, Hurricane diesel furnace, Electric heating, elements powered by a 30 amp shore power source or engine heat exchanger tied into the engine cooling system.

Vinyl (White with gray piping) New Catalina hard top dodger fabricated with 2" stainless steel supports, 80-Mil Polycarbonate glass, and White/Gray Stamoid Vinyl (installed by Barrett Enclosures - 2/7/2008). Replaced original stock Catalina canvas dodger. Custom designed Bimini with greater all around coverage and height to accommodate taller crew members and ensure coverage of stern pulpit seats. Fabricated using White Stamoid Open Vinyl and 1.25" stainless steel tubing (designed & installed by Barrett Enclosures - 2/7/2008). Replaced original stock Catalina bimini. Custom designed Connector that can be removed while leaving all other side curtains in place, but can be left in place while cruising because dodger height allows for great visibility from helm (designed & installed by Barrett Enclosures - 2/7/2008). Custom designed enclosure made up of 7 curtains that can be unzipped and removed during nice weather. The curtains were designed to allow maximum visibility and space usage. Therefore, they wrap around the outside of the cockpit safety railings, the stern pulpit seats, and the transom lockers. All curtains were fabricated using White Stamoid Open Vinyl and 60-Mil Strata Glass (designed & installed by Barrett Enclosures - 5/1/2008). Folding table with teak leaves and bin lid. Teak floor grates. Removable teak companionway doors with screens and removable windows (built by Cruising Concepts - installed 6/6/2007). Custom welded stainless steel safety railings extend cockpit railings forward 5' on each side of boat. These railings allow for accessory attachments and better hand holds while climbing out onto the deck. Forespar Nova Lift for hoisting outboard or other miscellaneous objects from the water.
