Accomodations:
Going below decks on Utopia is made easy with the swinging teak doors and sliding companionway hatch. Wide and curved teak steps provide an easy and safe descent with handholds where you need them. The main salon features a gorgeous dining table and room for six. A sliding bench seat on one side of the table increases versatility and access. Once below, you begin to appreciate the interior of this Cabo Rico 45. It is truly beautiful due to the rich and warm finish on the teak veneer paneling, teak trim, doors and cabinets. The teak and holly sole feels solid underneath. There is an attractive vinyl headliner. There are handy storage compartments, cabinets and drawers wherever you look and need them.
The forward Master stateroom features a roomy pullman berth and a private head with shower and sink. There is a small makeup table with bench and mirror. There is ample storage in a closet, and cabinets and drawers as well as under the berth. The Aft stateroom features a double berth and private sink. Access to the head and shower is provided by a door off the main salon or the stateroom. The washer and dryer is tucked away out of site in a cabinet.
Galley:
The Galley is located Port aft of the salon and at the foot of the companionway stairs. The L-shaped galley features Corian counter tops and a double stainless steel sink. Convenient foot pedal allows hands free and conserving use of filtered water supply. There is ample storage for all utensils, food and spices. Force 10 propane 3 burner gourmet stove/oven is gimbaled

Electonics and Navigational Gear:
The boat is fully equipped with numerous and functional electronics. Displays for the navigation equipment are in the cockpit as well the navigation station.
Chelsea brass plated clock and barometer mounted on salon wall. The Navigation station provides a comfortable padded bench seat with ample room on the chart table and storage for tools, instruments, books, manuals, maps and guides. Electrical System:
Electrical system includes shore power supply for both the house electrical needs and for the air conditioning. For energy needs away from port, power is supplied by a Fisher Panda Diesel Genertator (Panda6). This 2 cylinder unit produces 6 kilowatts, is fresh water cooled and located in the cockpit port locker. Approximate engine hours are 250. Battery systems include five 12-volt DC batteries, with one dedicated to the engine and generator and 4 to the house. Three battery selection switches allow for house, engine and emergency needs. Moving about topside of the Cabo Rico 45 is easy due to the wide side decks. Adequate handholds and lifelines help keep you safe. Natural ventilation for living spaces below is supplied by 4 large rotating dorade vents. These vents are protected by stainless steel guards that also double as hand holds.
