1998 CATALINA 400 Sloop

Accomodations:
â¿¿Agapeâ¿¿ is an exceptional example of the well designed, very comfortable Catalina 400. There are two steering stations, walk-thru transom with boarding platform and two roomy staterooms. The interior is beautifully done in rich teak cabinetry and trim, teak and holly sole, off white counters, teal upholstery, pleated blinds and contemporary accents. There is a v-berth forward with filler and storage under, cedar-lined hanging locker and a set of custom cabinets built into the hull ceilings. The v-berth cushions were new in 2007 and there is a hatch overhead with screen. To starboard is the head with vanity, sink and shower. The wraparound dinette is next aft and to starboard (sleeps two) with a single settee to port both with storage beneath and outboard. Aft of the single settee is navigation station, electrical panel and built-in entertainment center with Zenith AC/DC TV with VCR, Alpine AM/FMCD stereo system and 6 disc CD changer. Aft of the dinette is the u-shaped galley featuring a custom refrigeration system with separate freezer and refrigeration units, with added insulation and extra shelving in the refrigerator. Opposite is the aft head compartment with vanity, sink, storage and separate stall shower that can be accessed from the salon and master cabin aft. The very spacious master cabin features a queen centerline berth with custom inner spring mattress and storage under, twin cedar-lined hanging lockers, overhead hatch with screen, port and starboard settees and additional storage in lockers, cabinets and on shelves. There is an abundance of light and ventilation provided by ten opening Lewmar hatches, eleven ports and direct and indirect lighting.
