A top loading freezer and front loading refrigerator are stainless steel lined and provide ample food storage for long cruises.Force 10, 2-Burner Propane Stove W/Oven & Stainless Steel Protection BarCarving Board Fillers For SinksSea Water Foot Pump W/Ice Box Drain System (Plumbed)Insulated Icebox W/Two Baskets (6-Cubic Feet)Roll-Out Grocery Storage CompartmentTrash CanDust Collection Pan (Built Into Cockpit Sole)Handrail On CoamingLewmar Opening Port (12" X 5")Roller BlindCurved Port Light To CockpitDouble Stainless Steel SinksHot & Cold Pressure Water SystemNew, Seaward Hot Water Heater (12-Gallon)Dish Drainage Locker12-Volt Adler Barbour Refrigerator (In Front Loading Compartment)12-Volt Adler Barbour Freezer (In Top Loading Compartment)Fixed Hull PortLewmar Trimline Opening Hatch (10" X 10")Halogen LightingNeon Light Over Working Area

There are rare teakwoods throughout this entire vessel, which include a teak and holly sole. Open spaces, fixed hull ports and skylights, many opening ports and hatches, provide an abundance of light and air in this model. The owner has added a new centr galee table (which converts into a bunk to sleep two additional people).U-Shaped Settee W/Water System Access Under Aft EndLockers & Bottle Storage Along Hull SideFixed Hull PortLewmar Trimline Opening Hatch Overhead (20" X 15")Halogen Overhead LightingLarge Hanging LockerLocker In Chart Table SeatBook Rack & ShelfHinged, Multi Function 12-Volt Electrical Control PanelLewmar Opening Port (23" X 5")Handrail On CoamingLarge Storage CabinetSalon Table W/Storage In Center (Table Folds Down To Form A Double Berth)Handrail Along CoamingLewmar Opening Port (23" X 5")Roller BlindsReading LampsJensen Stereo System W/New, CD PlayerAft Facing Chart Table (Drawer & Locker Under)Hinged Panel For Electronics InstallationFixed Port In HullRed/White Night Light

Deck and Hull Equipment:
The Oceanis 400 cockpit is a mastery of design as it gives one plenty of elbow room to the largest of crews, whether underway or socializing around the cockpit table at the end of the day. High coamings provide plenty of back support and security for the crew. The anchor locker contains the standard manual anchor windlass and the below deck furling drum. The bow has two anchor rollers, one of which tilts and is balanced forward to allow easier lowering of the anchor. The teak on the exterior seat and rails has been recently refinished.Bimini Top Over CockpitTeak Slats On Cockpit SeatingLazarette Locker W/Access To Steering QuadrantSail & Liferaft Storage Lockers (2)Cockpit Table/Steering Pedastal W/Two-Folding LeavesTable LightGlass Holder On Steering PedestalSwim Platform Access Door (In Transom)Integrated Swim Platform W/Stainless Steel Swim Ladder, Teak Steps & Two Equipment LockersTransom ShowerStern Light On TransomTransom FenderInsulated Icebox W/Drain

Sails and Rigging:
All her sails were reconditioned three-years ago. The Genoa tracks and turning blocks are placed on the cabin top as is the mainsheet traveller. This positioning improves the sheeting angle of the genoa and enhances upwind performance. It also clears the side decks, making them safer to use. The double spreader furling mast has discontinuous rigging and forward lower shrouds. The furling mainsail is controlled by an inhaul and an outhaul line led aft to the maneuvering winch. All lines running aft from the mast to the cockpit are covered by a deck cowling. Genoa sheets and maneuvering lines are controlled by large self-tailing winches, and are used standing rather than sitting, making it easier for the crew. Rope tails are stored using tiebacks affixed to the topsides. Lifeline gates are at maximum beam where they are most accessible. The sail area on this vessel is approximately 670-square feet.Furling Mainsail W/CoverAnodized Aluminum Mast & BoomIn-Mast Mainsail FurlerMast Step W/Halyard Turning BlocksAnchor LightSteaming LightBackstays (2)Forward Lower Shrouds (2)Genoa HalyardGenoa SheetsTraveller Control LinesMainsail Furling Control Lines153% Furling Genoa W/UV StripDouble Aft Swept SpreadersGenoa Furler W/Drum Recessed Below DeckStainless Steel Discontinuous RiggingForestayUpper Shrouds (2)Aft Lower Shrouds (2)Main HalyardMainsheetMain Topping LiftFurler Control Line

SELLER DESCRIPTION

No matter what your destination, Vanishing Point , our Oceanis 400 will take you there in safety, comfort and luxury, and she ll do it with a minimal effort on your part, thanks to a modern and efficient deck layout and quality hardware. Jean Marie Finot designed this second generation Oceanis to provide her owners with plenty of cruising comfort, blended with safety and true ease of handling. The belief of the Beneteau Company is that performance is as important in cruising as it is in racing. That s why Beneteau designs the Oceanis to be able to sail off a lee shore or out of the way of an oncoming storm. Her fin keel with bulb has a low center of gravity, which allows her to sail efficiently on all points of sail while providing excellent stability. The large diameter, leather sheathed wheel, coupled to a counter-balanced rudder, provides precise and easy steerage under sail or when maneuvering under power in tight quarters. By using a structural grid system in the hull, this vessel is insured stiffness as well as correct rig and keel load distribution. Time and weather passes: A Beneteau is built to endure. This is the way cruising should be done; with a confidence and a peace of mind that allows you to relax and enjoy. You ll be living life to the fullest onboard this Oceanis 400 where everything is designed to make your days on the water as pleasant as can be. Vanishing Point is the double, aft cabin version, which means she offers a second aft cabin to starboard, which is identical to the port aft cabin. The forward cabin and head are unchanged. The galley runs along the port side of the salon and the starboard side features an L-shaped settee, large table and a forward facing navigational station/chart table. She s powered by an almost new, Phasor Kubota diesel engine and loaded with many amenities that you will read about in the full specs area on this beautiful sailing vessel. She's in need of some tender loving care, therefore the "Reduced Price". Please give us a call for more details or to make an appointment to view Vanishing Point .
