1991 PROUT QUEST CS, This is an exceptionally nice 1991 Prout Quest CS cruising catamaran. She is in excellent condition inside and out. Upgrades in the last three years include a barrier coat on the hull bottom; a complete Awlgrip on the entire hull from top to bottom; engine overhaul; new drive system, new hydraulic drive lift, new teak and holly sole; complete new cushions; upgraded electronics and new electric windlass. Accomodations:
Entry into the cabin on this 33 Prout Quest is through a centerline doorway into the salon with an arched coachroof. The salon has a large teak dining table with seats to port and starboard which easily seat six persons comfortable. Forward of the salon is a queen berth which is easily accessable thru the salon with two large forward windows, two 12 volt fans, lighting plus storage beneath the berth. The salon also has storage beneath the seatsto port and starboard, an overhead hatch and two opening ports. The port hull has the head forward with a manual Jabsco head with y-valve for overboard discharge plus holding tankwith deck fitting for marina pumpout. The head area has a vanity with sink, shower, dressing mirror plus storage for toiletries. Aft inthe port hull is a pull out nav station with chart storage, an AM/FM/CD with two speakers plus the vessels 12 volt electrical panel (rewired in 2008 with new breakers). Across from the nav station are large lockers and cabinets and drawers with organized storage areas plus a hanging locker. Aft is a double bed in the port hull with two opening ports for ventilation. The forward area of the starboard hull houses a large storage area with the vessel's 5 cu. ft. cold plate refrigeration system and an adjacent dry storage area. An overhead hatch is located forward in the starboard hull. Aft is the galley with a stainless steel sink with drainboard, hot and cold pressure wateer, a gimballed Force 10 propane stove with oven plus ample storage lockers and cabinets against the hull to starboard for food and dishes. A hanging locker is located in the starboard hull just before entering the aft cabin to the starboard double bed. The interior of this vessel is in MINT condition with all new cushions and coverings in 2008 plus a complete new teak and holly sole in 2007 and new overhead liners to port and starboard. The 12 volt and 110 volt have been completely rewired in 2008. The cockpit of the 33' Prout is well laid out with the helm console to starboard with the electronics protected under glass and a pedestal seat aft with a foot rest for the captain. Comfortable seating surrounds the cockpit with new cushions in 2008. Engine access is thru a large hatch in the cockpit which doubles as a cockpit table. The ships bottom was stripped and barrier coated in 2005. The bottom was repainted in 2007 and the entire exterior of this vessel was Awlgripped in 2007. She shows like a new boat exterior.
