Accomodations:
The basic design of this boat is an aft cabin, cockpit motor yacht, with 3 staterooms. The boat has two heads; one forward serving the two forward cabins and the aft head is ensuite to the master stateroom. The aft stateroom has a vanity built in as well as a walk around queen size bunk. The aft cabin also employs its own hot water tank to ensure the owner always have a warm shower. The volume of the aft cabin is much larger than other Camargues or other boats in its class due to some innovative design work. The exhausts that normally run down the chines are round in most boats, taking up more volume due to the shape - these exhausts are oval and tuck in neatly to the chine section and drastically increase the beam dimensions of the aft cabin. Other enhancements are increased length to permit a large closet. This is accomplished by shortening the engine room and placing the generator in the lazarette. This increases the cabin by more than 2 feet. The galley is down but is not tucked away as in other down galleys - the cook can see out through lowered windows and can see the salon area. There are lots of storage space for food and utensils. The large V-berth or forward cabin is ensuite with a shower but the toilet is shared with the 3rd cabin placed directly behind the head. It has two twin size bunks, and is especially nice for young people. The salon doubles as the eating area. It employs a gorgeous round table that when the top is removed, it reveals a smaller round cocktail table that can be lowered to provide more walk around area for large parties. The main helm is to port and has instant access to the side salon door. Comparing this to other Camargues, this is an optional feature not frequently found. Docking the boat from the lower helm is easy due to this feature allowing quick access to the deck.
Mechanical Equipment:
twin 3208 425hp Caterpillar diesels - wide open fuel consumption at 2800 RPM is 25 gallons/hour per engine. Although the cruise speed of this boat is around 19 knots, it is normally runs at 2300 RPM at 17 knots. The boat when light and has a clean bottom will do 23.5 knots. When at displacement speeds, 1300 rpm at 8-9 knts, the boat will get approximately 1 MPG.The Cat engines have about 1550 hrs and have always had the best maintenance and has had the oil changed every 50-75 hours - Caterpillar recommends changing every 200. The engines have had all the recommended upgrades Cat has. They have a unique gate that will drop down and block the exhaust at the turbos to maintain engine temperatures at low speeds which prevents the engines from smoking at idle and low speed. The engines also have block heaters that can warm the engines before starting to reduce the smoke. They have been upgraded with the higher-pressure 1200-psi injectors for more efficient operation. They employ AIRSEP crankcase breathing systems that effectively remove oil from the crankcase vapor and returns it to the crankcase as liquid oil. Also installed are the condensation remover type intake manifolds that collect condensation from the intercoolers and diverts the liquid to holding bottles. No other engine does this. The reverse gears are Twin Disc and are 1.98:1 ratio and turn a 2 diameter propeller shaft. The propellers are 25 diameter and have 27 of pitch. They are class-1 computer checked to 1/8 pitch at any radial checkpoint. The shafts have a carbon drip seal gland (PYI) as well as a carbon brush wiper to ground the shaft electrically to prevent electrolysis. The rudders are airfoil in design that reduces drag, but provide exceptional course stability.

Deck and Hull Equipment:
Early in the boats life, the hull was stripped of all anti-foulant and given an epoxy barrier coat, then applied a layer of a copper matrix/epoxy anti-foulant topcoat (American Marine Coatings). This does two things - 1) it provides for low-key antifouling and 2) it provides an effective barrier coat to prevent blisters, and to keep the hull from water adsorption. This boat has NO blisters. The boat carries an 11 Boston whaler as a tender with a Johnson 20hp Outboard. This tender is lifted out of the water by a hydraulic stern mounted davit system. The whaler originally had wood trim and seats but due to the extreme maintenance required to keep it varnished, the wood has been refitted with white poly boat board, giving it a nice modern appearance.Access to the boat from dockside is usually done from the cockpit and has a nice large walk-thru transom door. This leads up to a large, fully enclosed sun deck with bonded Barrett canvas and hard plastic windows. The flybridge is also full enclosed using a professionally built custom hardtop. The windows are all glass except for the extreme curved section, which uses color matched hardened acrylic sheets with a durable surface coating.
