Gandalf is an updated and well-cared for 42' Krogen with the most desirable, but rare, Widebody layout with a centerline queen master stateroom. This well-equipped Widebody also has a day head in addition to a washer/dryer, bow thruster, full electronics and factory and owner-added options. She has cruised the Great Circle Loop, as well as the East coast, and is ready to do it again.

Mechanical Equipment:
The engine room is easily accessed under the saloon floor by way of removable deck hatches. The 550 cubic foot engine compartment allows service space all around the single 135 hp 6-cylinder Lehman diesel engine. The fuel tanks were replaced in 2004 with custom aluminum tanks. The computer, VHF and radar are linked to the Furuno GPS and the computer also has it's own Garmin GPS. This system has a new 17" flat panel monitor. Deck and Hull Equipment:
The flybridge is easily accessed immediately aft outside of the port-side wheel house door or up from the aft deck by way of a stern ladder leading through a closing top hatch. The flybridge and boat deck level offer a staysail mast secured to the deck with a hinge for lowering as necessary. A recently added deck crane to accommodate hoisting a dinghy and other equipment to this level is there as well. The bridge itself offers a Captain's helm chair and side bench seats under a folding navy bimini top.
