Accomodations:
The Catalina 30 accommodations are spacious and well planned for family cruising or weekend getaways. The galley is within close proximity to the dining table and the cockpit. Forward is a comfortable double cabin with a large overhead hatch for ventilation. Aft of the v-berth on the port side is the head which has a storage locker and shower in addition to the marine head and sink. Starboard to the head is a large storage locker and spacious drawers for storage. Just aft of this is the main salon which has a U-shaped settee on the aft port side with the dining table and a settee to starboard. Aft of the main salon on the port side is a large u-shaped galley and to starboard is the nav station. Additional Equipment:
The bottom was sanded and painted with Interlux bottom paint in September, 2005. This boat has sustained some damage due to contact with a piling in a Nor'easter. The impact appears to be at the hull/deck joint on the starboard side. Pugin' Along is a shoal draft, 1988 Catalina 30. She is a very comfortable boat with a roomy, traditional interior. These boats have earned a reputation as performance boats that are great for cruising and have a history of being competitive in club racing. Her auxiliary power is a Universal M-25 diesel engine. Pugin' Along's shoal draft is perfect for cruising shallow, coastal waters. This boat has sustained some damage due to contact with a piling in a Nor'easter.
