SELLER DESCRIPTION

1987 CHERUBINI Staysail Schooner , The Schooner Harmony is hull number 5 of a total of 9 Cherubini Schooner s built to date. After the completion of an extensive refit she is truly in Bristol condition. Her current and second owner of nearly 17 years has logged over 75,000 miles at sea along the US East coast, the Bahamas and throughout Asia. Harmony took first place in the 1996 China Sea Race from Hong Kong to Subic Bay in the Philippines with 30 to 40 knots of breeze at 60 degrees apparent wind. On one four hour watch she never fell below 11.5 knots and surfed down 20 footers at 13.5 knots. She has entered many harbors with newer, larger, more expensive yachts however, never failes to draw attention and praise. She is truly one of the most beautiful sailing vessels on the water today with grace, balance, speed and a sea kindly motion to boot. She is extremely dry and comfortable to sail. Her current owner is reluctantly moving from sail to steam making this outstanding vessel available. Please contact Paul Rubin of South Florida Yachts for any questions or to arrange a showing. Harmony is easy to see in Ft. Pierce, Florida. The Schooner Harmony is hull number 5 of a total of 9 Cherubini Schooner s built to date.
