1986 Gozzard Yachts Classic, Location: Port Charlotte, FL, US This Gozzard 36 Cutter has classic style and luxurious accommodations. Featuring a white hull with blue trim this 36 with its clipper bow looks good at anchor and great under sail. Whether you are planning a weekend getaway, or a cruise to the islands this Gozzard 36 is ready to accommodate. She features large cockpit and unconventional handcrafted interior that has to be seen to be appreciated.The unique interior is a Ted Gozzard design. Rather than a traditional V-berth forward, there is an athwartship hanging locker followed by opposing settees angled slightly inboard toward the bow. The settees can be swung together on centerline to become a double berth. The bulkhead aft of the starboard settee is hinged so that it opens allowing full view of the forward cabin or closes to from a large forward stateroom. A portside locker door is also double hinged so that it conceals a storage locker or becomes an entrance to the forward stateroom. The salon has a wraparound settee to starboard. Port side is a galley with gimbaled gourmet three-burner range with oven, Isotherm refrigerator, and stainless steel deep sink. To the starboard side of the companionway, there is a large quarter berth that utilizes a folding bulkhead and double-hinged door so that it can be closed off to become a quarter cabin. Port side is the head and shower with a navigation station to starboard.Electronics include: Navico 5000 autopilot, Standard Horizon CP3000i chart plotter with three C-Map charts, Garmin 210 GPS/Map, Raymarine ST60+ Wind & Speed displays, two compasses, a VHF radio, and a hand-held VHF radio. Entertainment is provided by a television with VCR and a Kenwood AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo.On deck we have a huge cockpit with cushioned seating and centerline folding dining table for cocktails or alfresco dining. Sails include: 135% Dacron furling genoa with spare, furling main, furling jib, and storm jib. Other features include: A new Campbell Hausfeld generator, ACR EPIRB, searchlight, and boson's chair. The bow pulpit has 45# Bygel anchor and Seatiger anchor windlass. Auxiliary power is provided by a Westerbeke 46-hp diesel engine.
