1982 Tartan 33R 33, 1982 Tartan 33R, The T33R was designed more as a racer than a cruiser. "Rs" all have masthead rigs, with a smaller high aspect ratio main, and 6'3" fin keels. The T33 and T33R share the same hull. The T-33R is a double-spreader rig with a shorter mast moved aft about a foot. The mast is stepped through the salon rather than through the head. Oiled teak interior with green cushions, sleeps up to six, V-berth forward with privacy door, head to port with vanity sink, hanging locker and drawers, salon with portside short settee seat, galley counter top that opens to the icebox and pilot berth outboard, storage under pilot berth, full lenght settee stbd. that pulls out to make a double berth, shelves and lockers along hull, bulkhead fold-up table with two leaves, L-shaped galley aft, forward facing nav station with quarterberth to port.

L-shaped galley with white Formica countertops, top loading icebox across from galley with Isotherm refrigeration, single stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water faucet, 2-burner electric stove top, storage shelves, dish rack and lockers along hull and cockpit.

Keel stepped, double spreader masthead rig with s.s. wire standing rigging, Hydralic backstay adjuster, Harken furling system, 2-Lewmar #44 3-speed primary winches by helm with Harken mainsheet tackle and traveler just ahead of helm, 4-halyard/secondary winches on aft end of cabin top, all control lines led aft, complete spinnaker gear with pole.
