Accomodations:
The space on this boat is fantastic. The 13'10" beam is evident from the get go. There is a nice contrast between the warm and cozy teak that surrounds you and the spaciousness of the main salon, galley and nav station. Medium blue pull-up carpet protects the teak and holly sole. The L-shaped settee to starboard and the straight settee to port are done in a rich burgundy print which adds to the warmth of the interior. All fabrics are in great shape and have been updated from the original. Three people can sleep on the settees due the versatility of the dinette table which folds up against the wall and drops down to make a large berth. There is one more space for someone to sleep and that is a single berth aft of the nav station, making the total eight. The staterooms are private and at opposite ends of the boat from each other. To access each stateroom you walk down a short "hallway" with hanging lockers, drawers, etc. then you come to your private oasis. In the case of the master stateroom, which is aft, you walk past the big Perkins diesel engine compartment with its easy access. The master stateroom is quite large with plenty of space for moving around, folding sails or doing yoga stretches. A large berth spans the aft wall of the boat with secure shelving around the perimeter holding a Sony TV, a DVD/VHS player and two of the eight speakers aboard the boat. Teak lockers and drawers are numerous for storing your gear. There are lots of ventilated port holes, a hatch, plus direct access to the cockpit via the stairs. Your first mate will appreciate the vanity and cosmetic storage it provides. The head/shower combo is neat, clean and practical with a big mirror and more cabinetry. Jumping to the forward stateroom you will find two berths-one lower to port and one higher bunk to starboard. This configuration allows for lots and lots of under bunk storage. There is also an amazing amount of storage overhead. That's where the owner custom built a removable shelf for extra sails and allows access to the chain locker. Two big hatches bring in plenty of light and ventilation. This stateroom has private access directly to the second head allowing complete privacy when desired. The second head is clean and in great condition. There is a large mirrored cabinet and additional storage in the console.
Galley:
Open to all the public spaces on the boat, this L-shaped galley keeps the cook involved in the conversation as well as keeps the nav station in your sight line and your banquet table within reach. The owner has customized the Toastmaster three burner stove/oven making it more reliable when under heavy seas. Two of the burners are propane- one is electric. Plentiful teak cabinets are in great condition and there is plenty of counter space.Three burner Toastmaster stove/ovenGE microwaveTwo large deep refrigerator/freezersDouble s/s sink

Deck and Hull Equipment:
The solid fiberglass hull is hand laid. In no load ares it is cored. There is a full keel that is internally ballasted with a keel attached rudder. An internal hull flange joins the deck to the hull, plus the deck is thru-bolted. After that, a slotted aluminum toe rail is attached. In addition to the quality factory features, the owner has customized the new Caribe dinghy so that you can safely sail and motor with the engine attached to the dinghy eliminating the need to attach the dinghy engine with each use.Anchor windlass with 100' of chain & 270' of rodeSolid steel Destroyer wheel at helm New cutlass and carrier bearing for prop shaft to minimize vibrationFive pneumatic fenders with coversNewly true pitch & balanced propNew dodger (2006)Custom, elevated jib platform for better visibility and access to windlassHeavy duty bow spiritBimini cover extends from side to side and mast to mast for excellent sun protection New Caribe dinghy(2006) with 4 stroke 15hp engineNew custom dinghy cover(2006)Decks are in excellent condition and spotless
Sails and Rigging:
With the 416 Out Island, the sail plan has been tweaked to perfection. A double spreading main mast, a keel stepped rig and keel stepped mizzen are sure to make the winning legacy of "Bronco" continue under your new ownership. There are infinite sheet lead positions available for the head sail, etc. due to the slotted aluminum toe rail. Winning the Baja Ha Ha is a big deal by anyone's standards. Winning it six out of seven times is huge! Not only is "Bronco" a serious racing vessel, she's a comfortable, well equipped boat to have alot of fun on. She's in great shape and there have been extensive upgrades to support that. Of course, besides "Bronco's" pedigree as a winning racer, the Morgans have an excellent reputation to stand on. One of their distinct advantages over other sail boats is their ability to navigate shallow waters and shoals making them highly sought after. "Bronco" is part of Charlie Morgan's Out Island Series which consists of a taller double spreading rig; better tankage and deck gear; and an improved layout. "Bronco" also sports a one year old Caribe dinghy with a four stroke motor. In all, if you're looking for a boat you can race to Hawaii then cruise through the San Juaquin delta and do it comfortably, in style and for less than $100,000, then this is your boat.
