1981 C&C 32

Accomodations:
The C&C 32 has a pleasant and practical interior. The large, open interior allows for a very practical dinette arrangement. The whole crew can be seated while fore-and-aft passage through the cabin remains unobstructed. The dinette can be lowered to form a large double berth which, along with the extra-wide quarter berth, the settee, and the forward cabin permits comfortable sleeping accommodations for six. The navigator's responsibilities can be carried out regardless of other activity below. The nav station is self-contained with lighting, storage and the yacht's breaker panel and switches conveniently at hand. Forward of the dinette, on the starboard side, is a fully enclosed head that is spacious, neatly arranged and brightly lit. A sink, countertop and storage locker makes the head easy to keep tidy and clean. Opposite the head is a deep hanging locker with drawers beneath. Swing the door closed and you have a seperate forward cabin with enough floor space for dressing in privacy. The berths are wide, over six and a half feet long and there is plenty of space for the built-in bureau and generous shelves above the berths.

Galley:
The galley is designed to make a cook's job a pleasure, even under way. The sink is deep, counter space is not only generous, but well lit and easy to reach. The electric, top loading refrigerator has large double covers, it is carefully insulated and neatly divided with racks for small items. A chopping block cover converts the 3 burner alcohol stove top to extra counter space.

Deck and Hull Equipment:
Large deck hatch with solar fan/screen in the forward cabin and a smaller one in the head. Take a walk around the deck of the 32. There's generous width between the cabin trunk and the stanchions. The foredeck is uncluttered and there is plenty of foot room around the cockpit for handling lines or boarding via the swim ladder. Winch pods flanking the mast keep halyards and control lines out of the cockpit and put winches at a better working height. The cockpit coaming is custom cherry and has a large, flat surface. The mainsheet traveler is up, out of the way on the cabin top, forward of the companionway hatch.
