1980 Cape Dory CD27

Accomodations:
This vessel went through a major refit in 2006 with the entire exterior stripped of all hardware and rigging. The entire exterior was refinished with Awlgrip including the mast and boom, all hardware was rebedded. New standing, running, and electrical was also replaced at this time. Forward V-bearth with three separate freshwater water bags installed under bed, separate head aft of forward cabin, salon located amidship with bulkhead mounted folding table, galley located inside companion way to starboard, stove located directly accross on port side. All coushions were replaced in 2002. Interior was painted and all hardwood, table and cabin sole refinshed. All bronze port seals have been replaced and all openings from the cabin include screens. The original bronze seacocks have been maintained and all are in good working condition. Custom non-skid paint was used on the decks and coach roof. You will not find a CD27 in any better condition.

Mechanical Equipment:
6500 btu central marine AC/heat. New head installed in 2002, just installed rebuild kit for pump. Pump to holding or overboard with locking three way valve. Engine and controls were replaced in 2002 with a brand new Yanmar 1GM10, new SS prop shaft, dripless cutlass bearing, waterlift muffler and two blade bronze prop.

Galley:
12V adler/barbour Super cold machine ice box conversion (makes ice)installed in 2004, single SS sink with foot pump, two burner propane stove.

Electonics and Navigational Gear:
Autohelm ST4000 tiler pilot, Standard Horizon VHF with RAM in cockpit replaced in 2006. Pioneer AM/FM/CD with marine speakers installed inside cabin 2005.

Electrical System:
12V and 110V. 3 Exide deep cycle group 27 dual purpose batteries replaced in 2007, Two dedicated for house loads, one for starting. 10 amp marine battery charger. All new wiring throughout boat in 2006 including mast internal wiring and VHF run in pvc pipe mounted inside the mast. 12V outlet in cockpit. 30amp shore power with 50' cord. Standard depth and speed, bulkhead compass.

Deck and Hull Equipment:
Anchor windlass, bow anchor roller with bruce anchor, 40' of 3/8 chain, 200' 5/8" three strad nylon, saltwater washdown on bow. Fuel, freshwater and waste pump out fittings on deck. All bronze cleats, 6 bronze opening ports, 1 forward cabin hatch competly rebuilt in 2005 with new 5/8" lexan, 3 solid bronze cowl vents installed 2005. Bronze Lemar winches in cockpit. Three winches mounted on mast. All new life lines installed 2006.

Sails and Rigging:
Two main sails, one is the original in fair condition, the other was replaced in 2003 by Mack Sails and has a double reef. 130 genoa on roller furler in good condition. All standing and running rigging replaced in 2006. Mast modified to allow lines to run internal. All new electrical throughout boat including VHF, antenna, mast head, anchor, running, and deck lights replaced in 2006.

Additional Equipment:
Cockpit coushions, dodger with opening window in center, full bimini with connector to dodger, life vest, boat hooks. Full awning/cover which covers 90% of the boat. All canvas was replaced in 2003 and is in good condition.
