1979 Hardin Center Cockpit Ketch, Location: Sunbury, GA, US This 45' Hardin Center Cockpit Ketch has classic style and comfortable accommodations. Designed for the discriminating cruising yachtsman she offers a unique blend of live-aboard comfort and outstanding sailing sailing performance. Easily handled by one or two people, she offers speed and comfort.The interior is both warm and comfortable with oiled teak woodwork. There is a master stateroom aft with double berth, storage lockers, and hanging locker. An enclosed head compartment with shower is located between the cabin and the salon. The salon is open with chart table port side aft and galley forward. The is equipped with refrigerator/freezer, ice box, microwave oven, four-burner range with oven, teak cabinets, and stainless steel sink. To starboard we have double bunks aft and a wrap-around dinette forward. Forward we have facing settees with pilot berth above. All the way forward is the second head with shower. Interior comfort is maintained by Cruiseair reverse cycle HAC. The interior has room, comfort, and provides family-sized accommodations.On deck we have a large cockpit with teak rails, teak decks, cushioned seating, and a bimini top with front and side curtains. Sails and rigging includes: genoa, jib, storm jib, self-tending staysail, main sail with Dutchman system, and mizzen sail. Electronics include a Garmin GPS, depth sounder, water temperature display and knotmeter with log. Auxiliary power is provided by dependable Kubota 85-hp diesel engine with only 10 hours.
