Accomodations:
The late-model Seawind II was praised by Practical Sailor for having "the best finished interior of any Allied boat we've seen." The layout is conventional and fits a cruising boat. There is lots of storage throughout in many shapes and sizes. The forward cabin contains vee berths a hanging locker and washbasin. There are drawers and bins under the berths. The door from the forward cabin gives access to the bead without entering the main cabin. The primary door between the main cabin and the forward cabin does double duty as a door, which shuts the head off from the main cabin. The head contains the water closet and shower. The cabin is wide with good headroom. It offers excellent accommodations for a couple living aboard or for extended cruising. The galley is to port. It is equipped with a 2-burner gimbal mounted propane stove. The icebox is insulated with four inches of urethane foam and has a tight fitting well gasketed top.
