1973 Northern Michigan #25 32' sloop has been proven to be a fast hull and a race winner. It is difficult to understand why this beautiful and capable keelboat has remained unknown to all the yachting world except for Little Traverse Bay on Lake Michigan. The NM is a lean, easily driven hull with fairly firm bilges. In the chop and moderate breeze the NM comes into its own, excelling notably to weather. The NM has fine forward sections that fair into a cut away keel, she has a long rudder attached to the trailing edge. She draws five feet with 313 sq. ft. of sail area and carries a spinnaker. The NM fleet in Harbor Springs is alive and well with active racing throughout the summer. This is your chance to be part of this classic fleet and bring home the hardware!
