SELLER DESCRIPTION

MOTIVATED SELLER + BEAUTIFUL CUSTOM COLUMBIA 50 = MUST SEE!!!Rarely does a vessel appear on YachtWorld where the photos do not do the boat justice. Well, this is one of those occasions! This Columbia 50 must be seen to be appreciated, and for the amount of custom craftsmanship put into this vessel, this is a wood-lovers dreamboat. No less than 10 varieties of exotic woods were used to customize every cabin and space below deck.Regardless if you're in the market for an offshore racer, an around-the-world cruiser, or a comfortable live-aboard, this Columbia 50 can be all of the above! As a racer, the Columbia 50 captured some noteworthy victories, such as winning her class in the 1966 Chicago-Mackinac and first overall in 1967. She also won her class in the 1967 TRANSPAC and Newport to Ensenada races. Built solid of hand-laid fiberglass, it is no surprise that the Columbia 50's are also a favorite choice among bluewater sailors. Confidence in knowing an offshore passage of any distance and in any condition will be much safer leaves more time to enjoy the trip rather than worry about what will break next. Finally, this Columbia 50 would make a wonderful live-aboard, surrounding her owner in warmth with all the exotic woods used in her custom designed cabins. Roomy enough for an entire family, and definitely the atmosphere to host wonderful parties!CURRENT OWNERS ARE LIVE-ABOARDS - PLEASE ALLOW 24 HR. NOTICE PRIOR TO VIEWING.
