2007 COM-PAC Picnic Cat, This 14-foot gaff-rigged catboat is easy to trailer & a delight to sail. Factory options added to this boat are the custom galvanized trailer, transom boarding ladder, mainsail & tiller cover. Dealer prep, commissioning and buyer orientation are also included in our pricing. The Picnic Cat is from the drawing board of Clark Mills, designer of many of the boats in the Com-Pac line, also well known as the designer of the Optimist Pram and the Windmill One Design. The Picnic Cat has a centerboard rather than a keel. With her centerboard up she is beachable. Her broad hull form & the low center-of-effort of her gaff-rigged sail make her very stable. The huge self-bailing cockpit plus ample stowage offer unsurpassed comfort in a small yet stable and easily handled package. She's built of solid, hand-laid glass, with aluminum spars and stainless steel centerboard which retracts into a stainless steel trunk.
