1998 Hunter Passage 450

Accomodations:
This spacious Hunter center cockpit design features a very open layout with pullman berth area, forward head in the bow and a large salon. Fully equipped galley to port and a luxurious aft stateroom with a separate head. The salon area and gigantic master stateroom are the main focal points below decks with other areas appointed appropriately. Forward pullman cabin features hanging lockers and under berth storage. Aft to port is the entertainment area with TV/VCR. The main salon features drop down table that converts into sleeping area. Aft to starboard is a true navigation station with opening chart table and separate seating. Galley is to port and aft stateroom is past nav station to starboard. Master suite highlights a centerline queen berth, his and hers vanity/storage areas, large shower and bathtub. Lots of natural light throughout entire cabin with many opening ports and air conditioning for those warm days. The 450 features a single wet-head forward in V-berth, with shower/faucet combination and head, aft head in master stateroom has a tub and shower. Day head along starbhoard side, aft of nav station for head and vanity.

Mechanical Equipment:
A powerful inboard diesel Yanmar boasting 78hp helps get this boat moving and 100 gallon fuel tank to keep you going.

Galley:
Galley to port side, large holding plate refrigerator & freezer, microwave, stainless steel propane stove and oven, pressure hot and cold water, power outlets and lots of storage space for all the cooking essentials.

Electonics and Navigational Gear:
At the helm is a full set of Autohelm ST-80 instruments. Autopilot, multi display, wind, depth and knot meters can easily be seen from the cockpit area. Autohelm Navcenter 600 chartplotter at the helm, just above the Ritchie compass. Cockpit mounted stereo controls, speakers, and the engine control cluster make this a very workable cockpit. Below decks include the TV and VCR with stereo CD player and speakers, cable can be routed from shore along with telephone.

Electrical System:
12 volt DC and 120 AC control panels aft starboard side. At the nav station is the Heart Interface Freedom inverter monitoring system. Two 12-volt deep cycle batteries with separate starting battery, automatic bilge pump wired to battery, twin dockside power and cords, DC powered cabin lights throughout the entire boat, tank level indicators at the nav-station round out the electrical systems.

Sails and Rigging:
In the mast furling system for the main sail and a furling headsail with all controls led aft to cockpit for easy single handing. Two cabin top primary winches. Line stoppers, mainsheet controls easily reached from helm, the Hunter arch with traveller and control all make sailing this boat simple and easy.
