1986 CASCADE Pilothouse Ketch, 42 Cascade offshore pilot house ketch sailboat Custom built by a master craftsman for live aboard comfort and safe offshore travel. The low profile pilothouse seating area offers a second steering station with a 360-degree visibility. The table top changes from flat, to sea rails with chart storage. The U -shaped sea going galley has a Force 10 propane range, deep double sinks in custom made stainless countertops. The Main salon has a new Dickinson Newport diesel heater, storage all new cushions. Sleeps 3 (plus), and space for T.V. Separate top-loading freezer and refrigerator are powered by shore power or engine driven compressors. The ketch rig offers split-rig versatility for easy sail handling at sea. The masts and rigging are oversized for safety. All four line-control winches are self tailing Lewmar. Below the cockpit floor an aluminum 80 gal diesel fuel tank The engine at cruising speed makes 6 knots at 2200 RPM using gal of fuel per hour. All 4 sides of the engine and parts are easy to get at.
